Greg's Current Compulsion

In late March, 2004, I had just returned home from the Washington, DC area and Fran was still enroute from Seattle. Arising early on Saturday morning, I was immediately confronted with a crisis, the resolution of which would have strong impact on our lives until this very day.

Dealing with this crisis involved a number of profoundly traumatic events involving both shopping and being patient, neither of which is within my limited repertoire of skills.

The shopping included a quick check of the 'net, where I learned that the C2000 had been discontinued by its manufacturer, followed by a visit to every conceivable store in the Burlington, Vermont area that might sell superautomatic coffee makers (I found about a dozen superautomatics), then back to the internet for intensive feature comparison and ordering.

The patience was required after ordering the replacement Jura-C

I am not yet prepared to claim any expertise in coffee; I am attempting to gather knowledge and experience in hopes of eventually acquireing a modicum of expertise.
